Earn With the Mintfunnel Referral Program

Every Mintfunnel user gets a referral link and earns commission on the PR orders and ad spend of people they refer. Here's how it works.

Last updated

Every Mintfunnel account, advertiser, publisher, or agency, comes with a referral program. Share your link, earn commission on what the people you refer spend, and withdraw the earnings to Stripe or USDC. There is no application, no minimum audience, and no separate signup.

Where to find your link

  1. Click Earn in the left sidebar of your Mintfunnel dashboard.
  2. Your referral link appears in the Share your link card. It looks like https://app.mintfunnel.co/?ref=YOURCODE.
  3. Click Copy link and share it anywhere: your newsletter, a tweet, a Discord post, a blog footer, an embedded button on your site.

Anyone who signs up through your link is linked to you for life. You earn on every paid PR order and every dollar of ad spend they put through Mintfunnel, with no expiration.

What you earn

Earning source

Default rate

When it's credited

PR distribution orders placed by your referrals

2.5% of the order total

When the order is fully delivered, with a 7-day hold to absorb refunds

Ad-network spend by your referrals

5% of confirmed spend

Daily, as their campaigns deliver paid clicks

Rates above are platform defaults. The Mintfunnel Team can set custom rates per affiliate. Your current rates are always shown on the Earn page in the Commission Rate card.

How attribution works

When someone clicks your referral link, Mintfunnel tags their session with your affiliate code. If they create an account during that session, or return later and create an account, they are linked to you permanently. Attribution is last-click: if a visitor clicks two different referral links before signing up, the most recent referrer gets the credit.

Sharing your link with friends is fine. Spam-clicking your own link to inflate stats is not. Mintfunnel rate-limits clicks per IP and reviews unusual patterns. Suspicious click volume can disqualify an affiliate from payout.

Earnings states

State

What it means

Pending

A PR order has completed but the 7-day hold window has not elapsed yet. If the order is refunded during this window, the earning is voided without affecting your balance.

Paid

The commission has cleared the hold (PR orders) or been confirmed (ad spend) and is now in your withdrawable balance.

Reversed

A previously-paid commission was clawed back, typically because the underlying order was refunded after the hold. Clawbacks are capped at your available balance, so you will never go negative.

Withdrawing your earnings

Your referral commissions land in the same wallet as any other Mintfunnel earnings, and you withdraw them the same way:

  1. On the Earn page, click Withdraw (or go to Payout Methods from your account menu).
  2. Add a Stripe Connect account or a USDC wallet address. See Linking a Payout Method.
  3. Request a payout. The $10 minimum and 1 to 2 business day turnaround are the same as publisher payouts.

You don't have to be a publisher to withdraw referral earnings. Even pure advertiser accounts can cash out commissions to Stripe or USDC. Funds you deposited for your own ad spend or PR orders stay on the platform. Only referral commissions (and, if you're a publisher, publisher revenue) are withdrawable.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to apply or be approved? No. Every account is automatically enrolled. Just open the Earn page to see your link.

How long does my referral stay linked to me?For life. Once a user signs up through your link, you earn on their PR orders and ad spend indefinitely.

What happens if my referral asks for a refund? If the PR order is refunded during the 7-day hold, your pending earning is simply voided. No money has moved yet. If it's refunded after the hold (rare), the commission is clawed back from your wallet, but never below zero.

Are ad-spend commissions ever reversed? No. Ad spend is consumed by real clicks and can't be refunded, so your ad-spend commissions are booked as paid immediately each day with no hold window.

Can I see who I've referred? You see counts and aggregate stats on the Earn page, but not the names or emails of your referrals. That's for their privacy.

Can I refer myself or my own other account? No. Self-referrals are not credited and can disqualify your account from the program.

What's a good way to share my link?Anywhere your audience overlaps with crypto founders, marketing teams, or Web3 publishers: Twitter/X, a Substack mention, a recommendation in your newsletter, a Discord channel for builders, or a footer link on your own site. The more contextual the recommendation (for example, "this is how I distribute press releases for my project"), the better it converts.
