Reading the activity log
When more than one party can touch an account, "who did that?" has to have an answer. The activity log is that answer: an append-only record of every meaningful change on an account, written automatically, editable by no one.

When more than one party can touch an account, "who did that?" has to have an answer. The activity log is that answer: an append-only record of every meaningful change on an account, written automatically, editable by no one.
What it records
Every entry captures:
- Who did it: the specific user who performed the action.
- On whose behalf: if the actor was working through an agency, the entry is labeled with the agency's name. Owner actions, agency actions, and Mintfunnel staff actions are all distinguishable at a glance.
- What changed, with before and after values: budget changes show the old and new amounts, status changes show the old and new states. A campaign going from $500 to $5,000 a day reads exactly that way in the log.
- When: a timestamp on every entry.
Covered events include campaign creation, edits, budget changes, status changes, and deletion; PR order creation, status, and payment changes; every wallet ledger movement including allocations and reclaims; client access-level changes; agency link and unlink events; and goal-tracking configuration changes.
Where to find it
- Clients: My Account, then Activity. You see the complete history of your own account: your actions, your agency's actions, everything.
- Agencies: each client cockpit has an Activity tab showing that account's history, scoped to what your agency is entitled to see.
- Account owners always see the full history of their own account. Agencies see history on the accounts they currently have access to.
Questions the log answers
These are the questions the log was built for. Each is one scroll or filter away:
"Who increased the budget on this campaign?" Find the budget-change entry. It names the user, the agency label if they acted through one, and the exact old and new amounts.
"Who created this campaign?" Every campaign's creation entry names the creator. Campaigns also carry their creating agency and user permanently, so this stays answerable even after an unlink.
"Who turned our ads off?" Status changes are logged with before and after states. A campaign that went from active to paused has an entry saying exactly who paused it and when.
"Did another agency touch our campaigns?" Agency actions are labeled with the agency's name, so a client who has worked with more than one agency over time can see which agency did what, and when each was active on the account.
Trust properties
- Append-only. Entries cannot be edited or deleted through the app, by anyone, including agency owners and account owners.
- Automatic. Entries are written by the platform when the action happens, not typed in by people. There is no "forgot to log it".
- Symmetric. Your agency sees what it did; you see what your agency did. Nobody works in the dark.
