What to Do If Stripe Connect Isn't Available in Your Country

If Stripe Connect isn't supported where you live, you can receive your Mintfunnel publisher payouts in USDC instead.

Last updated

Mintfunnel normally processes publisher payouts through Stripe Connect. If you live in a country where Stripe Connect isn't supported, you have a built-in alternative: USDC payouts on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, or Arbitrum.

Use USDC instead

USDC is a US-dollar-pegged stablecoin. From the publisher's perspective, the experience is straightforward:

  • Add a USDC wallet address to your Payout Methods page.
  • Request a payout (minimum $10).
  • The Mintfunnel Team reviews and sends the USDC on-chain, usually within 1 to 2 business days.
  • No fees from Mintfunnel. Network gas costs are paid by Mintfunnel, not you.

For the full step-by-step, see Receive Payouts in USDC (Publishers).

What you'll need

  • A self-custody crypto wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, Ledger, etc.) on one of the four supported chains
  • At least $10 in accrued publisher earnings
  • Comfort holding your own crypto. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, so double-check your wallet address before saving it

Other payout methods

USDC is the supported alternative to Stripe Connect for publishers in unsupported countries. If for some reason USDC won't work for you (for example, your jurisdiction restricts crypto, or you need a specific currency or routing method), contact the Mintfunnel Team via the chat bubble in your dashboard and we'll work with you to figure out an option.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum payout? Yes, $10 USD equivalent, the same as Stripe payouts.

How long does it take? Typically 1 to 2 business days from request to settlement, depending on review queue volume. Once the on-chain transaction is recorded, the funds land in your wallet within seconds (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum) to a couple of minutes (Ethereum).

What's the difference between Stripe and USDC payouts? See the comparison table in Receive Payouts in USDC (Publishers). Short version: USDC is irreversible and works everywhere; Stripe is reversible and faster but only works in supported countries.

I'm not sure if Stripe Connect is available in my country. Try starting the Stripe Connect onboarding in your Payout Methods page. Stripe will tell you up front if your country isn't supported. If it isn't, switch over to the USDC method.
