Introducing the Mintfunnel MCP Server: Run Your Ad Account from Claude or ChatGPT

Your AI assistant can now run your Mintfunnel account. The Mintfunnel MCP server is live, and it connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, or any other client that speaks the Model Context Protocol directly to your advertiser account.

Not a chatbot bolted onto a dashboard. Real tools, running on the same services and the same permission checks the dashboard uses, so an assistant can launch and optimize campaigns, browse and pay for press release placements, set up onchain attribution, and read what any of it produced. You ask in plain language. It does the work and shows you the result.

What you can ask it to do

The server ships a full tool catalogue across the platform.

Campaigns. List and inspect campaigns, draft new ones from a landing page and a creative, adjust bids, budgets, geo, device and schedule targeting, then pause, resume, submit for review, or archive.

Performance and optimization. Pull totals, daily series, and device, OS, browser and geo breakdowns for any date range. Then ask for findings: bids sitting under the floor, daily budgets exhausting by noon, CTR trailing your account average, publishers spending with nothing to show for it, geos dragging the average down. Every finding names the tool call that fixes it, so the loop closes in the same conversation.

PR distribution. Browse the publisher catalogue and packages with prices, turnaround and indexing flags, quote a bundle, check a draft against the house guidelines before you submit it, create the order, and pay from your wallet.

Onchain attribution. Register a site, get the tracking snippet, verify the install, add the contracts you want watched, and read attributed conversions and ROAS back into the chat.

Wallet. Balance, credits, transaction history, and top-up instructions. An agent can spend from your wallet inside the cap you set, but it can never add funds to it. That is deliberate and not configurable.

The server also carries its own reference material, so a well-behaved client pulls the creative spec and the press release guidelines into context before it drafts anything, plus ready-made prompts for launching a campaign, running a weekly review, optimizing, writing a release, and setting up attribution.

The part we spent the most time on

Handing an AI agent a budget is only a good idea if it cannot surprise you. So the interesting engineering here is not the tools, it is the guardrails around them.

Nothing changes on the first call. Every write tool returns a preview and a single-use confirmation token instead of acting. The assistant has to show you what it intends to do and then call confirm_action. If a cost grew between the preview and the confirmation, the confirmation is refused and it has to preview again.

Spending is capped per connection. Only a connection you granted the Manage and spend level can commit wallet funds, and never past the daily cap you chose. The default is $500. You can lower it, raise it up to $25,000, or take spend away entirely without disconnecting the agent.

Your account and nothing else. Tenancy comes from the token, never from what the model types. Every id it hands us is re-resolved through your own records and the same policies the dashboard enforces. Publisher costs, moderation data, and anyone else's account are simply not in the output.

Everything is logged. Every call, allowed or blocked, is recorded with the client, the tool, a summary of the arguments, and the outcome. You are emailed when a new agent connects, and again when one commits a larger amount.

Your password is never shared. Connections use OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, so you sign in on Mintfunnel and approve the agent there. Clients that can only send a bearer header get a scoped agent key instead, shown once and revocable in a click.

Three levels of access

You choose one when you approve a connection, and you can change it later.

Read only sees everything you see and changes nothing. Good for reporting.

Manage campaigns adds drafting and editing: create drafts, change targeting and bids, pause, resume, archive, set up attribution. It cannot commit money.

Manage and spend adds the actions that move funds: launching, raising budgets, paying PR orders. Always bounded by the daily cap.

Where to find it

In the platform, sign in and look in the left sidebar under Account for AI Agents. That one page holds your connection URL, setup instructions for each client, every connected agent with its access level, daily cap, call count and last use, your agent keys, and a log of recent activity. Revoking a connection there cuts it off immediately.

Connecting takes about two minutes. Copy the connection URL, paste it into your assistant as a custom connector or MCP server, approve it on Mintfunnel, and pick your access level and cap. Claude Code users can skip the clicking:

Built for agents on purpose

Marketing tools are about to be used by software as often as by people, and most of them are not ready for it. Ours is. Point your assistant at it and it can take a project from registration to a campaign that is running and measured, checking in with you only where it has to.
