Managing client campaigns and PR orders

Your agency workspace manages both of Mintfunnel's spend types, ad campaigns and PR orders, for every client, from two places: the per-client cockpit and the cross-client Overview.

Your agency workspace manages both of Mintfunnel's spend types, ad campaigns and PR orders, for every client, from two places: the per-client cockpit and the cross-client Overview.

The client cockpit

Open any client from your Clients hub to get their cockpit. It has a tab for each concern:

  • Campaigns: the client's ad campaigns, with create and edit flows.
  • PR orders: the client's press-release orders, with a New PR order button that opens the standard PR intake for that client.
  • Wallet: balance, allocate and reclaim controls, and the client ledger.
  • Activity: everything that happened on the account, who did it, and what changed.

Everything you create from a cockpit belongs to the client: the campaign or order lands on the client's account, and Mintfunnel records your agency and the specific teammate as the creator. If you ever part ways, the client keeps their campaigns and history.

The cross-client Overview

Agency, then Overview is your whole book of business on one screen:

  • A KPI strip: total clients, active campaigns, PR orders in flight, and your central wallet balance.
  • A campaigns table and a PR orders table across all your clients.

The Overview respects each viewer's access: Members see only their assigned clients, Analysts see everything but read-only, and read-only links show up as view-only rows.

Ad campaigns vs PR orders

The two types share your workspace but stay distinct:

  • Type is fixed at creation. A campaign is a campaign and a PR order is a PR order; each has its own purpose-built create and edit flow.
  • Each keeps its own lifecycle. Campaigns move through draft, active, paused, and completed states. PR orders move through their own pipeline from submission through review, publication, and completion. Neither borrows the other's states.
  • Both draw from the same client wallet. A PR order you place for a client is paid from that client's wallet, exactly like their campaign spend. There is no separate PR balance to manage. Agency-allocated funds spend first, as always (see Funding and wallets).

Who on your team can do this

Campaign and PR management follows the agency role ladder:

  • Owner, Admin, and Manager can create and manage campaigns and PR orders for all clients.
  • Member can do the same for their assigned clients only.
  • Analyst can view but not change.

Two caps sit on top of roles: a read-only client link makes the whole account view-only for everyone at your agency, and creating campaigns or placing PR orders requires the link to allow management.

The paper trail

Every create, edit, status change, and budget change on a client account is written to the activity log with the actor, your agency label, and before and after values where relevant. The client sees this feed on their own account too. Work as if the client is watching, because they can be. See Reading the activity log.
