Once your agency application is approved, you can create your agency workspace and start adding your team and clients. This article walks through the setup flow and explains what each team role can do.

Step 1: Create your agency workspace

  1. Open the link in your approval email, or go to Agency, then Setup in the app.
  2. Confirm your agency details and create the workspace.
  3. You are dropped into the Clients hub as the agency Owner.

Each user can belong to one agency, and setup is only available to the approved applicant. If a teammate needs to be the owner instead, have them apply, or create the agency yourself and invite them as an Admin.

Step 2: Invite your team

From the agency team page, invite teammates by email and assign each one a role. Invitations expire if not accepted, and you can revoke a pending invitation at any time.

What each role can do

  • Role: Owner. Manage agency settings, clients, and wallet funding: Yes. Manage campaigns and PR orders: Yes, all clients. View clients: All
  • Role: Admin. Manage agency settings, clients, and wallet funding: Yes. Manage campaigns and PR orders: Yes, all clients. View clients: All
  • Role: Manager. Manage agency settings, clients, and wallet funding: No. Manage campaigns and PR orders: Yes, all clients. View clients: All
  • Role: Member. Manage agency settings, clients, and wallet funding: No. Manage campaigns and PR orders: Yes, assigned clients only. View clients: Assigned only
  • Role: Analyst. Manage agency settings, clients, and wallet funding: No. Manage campaigns and PR orders: No, view only. View clients: All

A few notes:

  • Owner and Admin are the only roles that can add or edit client records, move money (allocate and reclaim funds), and manage the team.
  • Manager is your hands-on operator role across the whole client roster: create and edit campaigns, place PR orders, and configure goal tracking, but no access to agency settings or funding.
  • Member works exactly like Manager, but only for the specific clients you assign. See the next section.
  • Analyst sees everything and changes nothing. Good for reporting seats.

Step 3: Assign clients to Members

The Member role is scoped per client. When you set a teammate's role to Member, the team edit page shows a checklist of your clients: check the ones they should work on.

  • Members only see and manage their assigned clients. Everything else in the workspace is invisible to them.
  • Changing a Member's role to something else clears their assignments, since the other roles are not client-scoped.

Step 4: Add clients

From the Clients hub you can add clients in two ways:

  • Create a managed client account. You create the account for the client. You control it from day one, and you set the client's own access level on their login. See Client access levels.
  • Link an existing account. A company that already uses Mintfunnel can link to your agency using your management ID, with their consent. See Sharing your management ID.

Step 5: Fund your wallet

The central agency wallet is where all agency money enters Mintfunnel, and it is the source you allocate client budgets from. See Funding and wallets before you run your first campaign.

What you get after setup

  • A Clients hub listing every account you manage.
  • A per-client cockpit with tabs for campaigns, PR orders, wallet, and activity.
  • A cross-client Overview showing all campaigns and PR orders in one place.
  • A team page for roles and Member assignments.
  • Your management ID and a link-requests queue for connecting existing accounts.
